Flavours

We are a small but mighty company, and while we’re not veterinarians, it doesn’t take a doctor to know that wholesome food is better for a pooch than the processed stuff. We only use ingredients that we’d eat ourselves, and combinations of ingredients that are well known for having nutritional benefits for our canine friends.

While we get our paws on the ground, Dolly Pops come in two flavours:

The Original

This O.G. blend of tasty ingredients is where it all started!

Ingredients

Plain Greek yogurt (milk, active bacteria culture), sweet potatoes, peanut butter (dry-roasted peanuts), bananas, blueberries, and water.

Happy Belly Blend

This savory blend of belly goodness will leave your pooch pawing for a second serving!

Ingredients

Sweet potatoes, brown rice, locally-sourced homemade beef bone broth, pumpkin puree, green peas, spinach, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Instructions: Keep frozen until at least 30 minutes before snack time (some pooches like their Dolly Pops a little less frozen) or serve right from the freezer. Remove lid before serving. Always supervise your dog while they are enjoying their treat. While the cups that Dolly Pops come in are made from compostable materials, the cups are not intended for your pup's consumption.

Our story

Made for awesome doggos by a human who loves doggos.

Our name

Dolly Pops are named after the dog who inspired them—my pup, Dolly Parton! Though she’s not a country singer, she’s been known to serenade horses and hay bales. Just like the real Dolly, she’s sweet and stylish.

Foster fail

I have been volunteering and fostering animals with the Cochrane and Area Humane Society since 2013. In 2018, my husband and I fostered Dolly, a three-year-old dog who bore the physical and emotional scars of abuse and neglect. Within a couple of days, she went from “Foster” to “Foster Fail” and became part of our family.

A Treat Fit for a Spoiled Pooch

After years of living in luxury as a spoiled pooch, Dolly, once a starving stray, became a picky eater—turning up her nose at store-bought dog ice cream.

Determined to make a treat she'd enjoy and that was good for her skin, coat, and digestion, I started making homemade frozen dog treats with simple, wholesome ingredients. Friends' dogs loved them too, and demand quickly grew for these frozen doggie snacks!
